Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC, the owner of CRUNCH Fitness locations, is seeking a Janitor/Maintenance Attendant to help keep our clubs clean, safe, and welcoming. Working with Club Leadership, you’ll ensure the facility is spotless and well-maintained for members and staff.

This role involves interior and exterior cleaning, daily checklists, handling member requests, and following all policies. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be eligible to work in the United States, and maintain CPR

Qualifications

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification.
• Experience working with children.
• Certifications, as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have a basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
