Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Salem is hiring a Janitor/Maintenance Attendant to help keep the club clean, safe, and sanitary for members and staff. You will work with club leadership to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness and complete daily cleaning checklists.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification for children/infants. Prior experience with children is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods. Part-time schedule on site.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
