Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC, owner of CRUNCH Fitness locations, is seeking an Overnight Janitor/Maintenance Attendant in Troutdale, OR to keep our club shining and safe for members.

You will work with club leadership to complete daily cleaning checklists, maintain interior and exterior areas, assist members as needed, and report facility concerns. CPR certification is required or maintained; experience with children and applicable certifications per local laws are needed. This is a part-time role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or maintained.
• Certifications as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior cleanliness and organization of the club.
• Maintain cleanliness on the exterior of the club.
• Assist with member and guest service when required.
• Complete daily cleaning checklist as set forth by the GM.
• Report facility concerns including equipment issues.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook.

Description

The Overnight Janitor/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in helping us keep our clubs looking shiny and new. Working with Club Leadership, the Overnight Janitor works to ensure that the club facility is kept clean, safe sanitary and ready for our members to use.

Expectations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
