Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years previous janitorial experience.
• Experience with operating and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitary cleaning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning, trash removal, and outside cleanup of the City Government Complex.
• Operates vacuum cleaners and mops tile floor areas.
• Removes trash from offices to central locations.
• Cleans rest rooms daily and follows safety protocols.
• Dusts surfaces, cleans windows, and replaces light bulbs.
• Cleans air vents and secures exterior/interior doors daily.
• Unloads supplies and inventories cleaning/lighting supplies.
• Performs grounds work and ice/snow removal as directed.
