Job summary

4M Building Solutions is hiring a General Cleaner: Lead for the Evening Route on a full-time basis. Shift is 4:30pm-12:30am with hourly pay of $15.00.

The role serves as the backup to the Route Manager and involves learning all tasks from vehicle prep to client-site duties, with leadership responsibilities in the supervisor’s absence. Responsibilities include cleaning duties across client sites, reporting needed repairs, and maintaining safety and PPE standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some janitorial experience required; training provided.
• Successful drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and PPE as required by OSHA.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the route from vehicle prep, keys and alarms at each business.
• Handle tasks from route supervision and lead the route in the absence of the Route Supervisor.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, countertops, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Be a reliable, visible representative of 4M and report repairs or leaks as noticed.

This person will learn all aspects of the route from vehicle prep, keys and alarms at each business, as well as all tasks that need to be completed at each client that comes from route supervision. It's a requirement to be able to lead the route in the absence of the Route Supervisor.

General Cleaner duties

• Get trained in 4M’s state-of-the-art cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Be the friendly face of 4M. Reliable. Courteous. Resourceful.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, countertops, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Be a facility’s valuable extra set of eyes—report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks and drips as you notice them.
