Job summary

4M Building Solutions in Mayfield, KY is seeking a Lead General Cleaner for an evening shift to serve as backup to the Route Manager. You will learn vehicle prep, access controls, and duties at each client site, and lead the route when the Route Supervisor is unavailable.

The role requires at least 18 years old, some janitorial experience, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks. We train you in our green cleaning practices and offer competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead General Cleaner duties as backup to Route Manager.
• Learn vehicle prep, keys and alarms at each business, and client site tasks from route supervision.
• Ability to lead the route in the absence of the Route Supervisor.
• Get trained in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed supplies and equipment.
• Wipe down surfaces, remove trash, replenish supplies, sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Report repairs, leaks and drips observed at client sites.

General Cleaner: Lead -Janitorial Services

4:30pm-11:30pm

Hourly: $15.00

Lead General Cleaner; this position is the backup to the Route Manager. This person will learn all aspects of the route from vehicle prep, keys and alarms at each business, as well as all tasks that need to be completed at each client that comes from route supervision. It's a requirement to be able to lead the route in the absence of the Route Supervisor.

General Cleaner Duties

• Get trained in 4M’s state-of-the-art cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Be the friendly face of 4M. Reliable. Courteous. Resourceful.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, countertops, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Be a facility’s valuable extra set of eyes—report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks and drips as you notice them.
