Job summary

ABM is seeking a Janitorial Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at assigned facilities, ensuring service excellence, staff development, and client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary liaison between ABM and client partners, delivering high-quality services in line with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in facility, operations, or project management with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid business acumen including budget oversight and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent client needs, including occasional evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned facilities (campus, warehouse, office building or airport).
• Serve as primary liaison between ABM and client partners, delivering high-quality services per contract requirements.
• Promote safety, accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
• Assist in staffing, onboarding, evaluations with HR, and staff development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities to increase billable work.
• Prepare and submit operational and financial reports, budgets, payroll records, and cost analyses.
