Job summary

Total Cleaning in Boca Raton is seeking a dedicated Custodian Day Porter to maintain clean, safe spaces at a high-end resort. You will follow cleaning procedures, monitor supplies, and report issues, on a Saturday-Sunday 7am-3:30pm schedule.

Ideal candidates have cleaning experience, can stand/walk for long periods, and work well in a team. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and applicants must pass background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Dust, mop and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms and restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.

START IMMEDIATELY - Custodian Day Porter with Janitorial Experience - Boca Raton

Schedule - Saturday and Sunday 7am-3:30pm (16hours/Weekly).

We are looking for a Custodian Day Porter that is dedicated, detailed and passionate about delivering exceptional quality to one of Boca Raton's most beautiful resorts. You must be comfortable walking for extended periods of time since this is a large property.

What You'll Do:

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms and restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms.
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable.
• Shut off all lights if required.
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Other duties as needed are based on scope of work.
