Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) seeks a full-time Janitorial Crew Member to join our team. Shifts include days and nights, with weekend coverage. Starting pay is $23.92 per hour, with opportunities across multiple sites and potential overnight shifts. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and surfaces; operating cleaning equipment; and maintaining supply levels. Benefits offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance work.
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood.
• Ability to travel to various work sites.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance documents (English; Spanish where state requires).

Responsibilities

• Clean hard surface floors (sanitize, scrub, strip, and finish).
• Scrub and burnish special floor surfaces (e.g., gym floors).
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets; extract carpet.
• Wash windows and dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; clean windows and mirrors.
• Notify managers concerning major repairs or additions to building systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
