Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is hiring for a Cleaner to join our team in Chicago, IL. You will perform basic cleaning across common areas, restrooms, entrances, and more, with a focus on hygiene and safety. This role supports ongoing operations across multiple shifts including full-time and part-time opportunities.

Experience is preferred (minimum 1 year). Strong communication and reliable transportation are important to success in this hands-on position with competitive benefits and a salary structure

• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in common areas, restrooms, and entrances.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas; operate cleaning equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies; report issues.
