Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Cleaner to perform routine cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned spaces.

Multiple shifts are available, with full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities, as part of our Extraordinary team. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cleaning experience, strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as bending and lifting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean basic areas, restrooms, entrances, and common spaces.
• Sanitize and restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; operate cleaning equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to management.
• Attend to flooded areas and related clean-up tasks as needed.
