Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of all common areas, restrooms, and entrances across multiple shifts. You will operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and cleaning tools while following health and safety policies.

Positions include full-time, part-time and seasonal opportunities. The role requires at least 1 year of cleaning experience, reliable transportation, and physical stamina to perform bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites
• Must be willing to work assigned hours
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
