Job summary

Allegheny Country Club in Sewickley Heights, PA is seeking a dependable Janitorial Attendant to keep guest rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas and common spaces clean and event-ready.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, change linens, set up rooms for meetings and events, move tables and chairs, assist with catered functions, and maintain supplies and equipment while reporting maintenance concerns as needed. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash.
• Change bed linens and towels; replenish supplies in guest areas and restrooms.
• Set up, break down, and clean rooms for meetings, parties, and events.
• Move tables, chairs, furniture, equipment, supplies, and other items.
• Assist with catered functions, deliveries, and seasonal setup.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, storage areas, and janitorial closets.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and unsafe conditions.

This position combines general janitorial cleaning, detailed housekeeping, and operational support throughout the Club.In this role, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, dining areas, and common spacesVacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trashChanging bed linens and towels and replenishing guest and restroom suppliesSetting up, breaking down, and cleaning rooms for meetings, parties, and eventsMoving tables, chairs, furniture, equipment, supplies, and other itemsAssisting with catered functions, deliveries, seasonal setup, and other Club needsMaintaining cleaning equipment, supplies, storage areas, and janitorial closetsReporting maintenance concerns, damaged items, and unsafe conditionsThe ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and is comfortable performing a variety of physical tasks. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds. Flexible availability, working majority of evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on Club operations.
