Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a supervisory-oriented team member to oversee janitorial staff and ensure high cleaning standards for our clients. This is a full-time role with a Mon-Fri schedule from 12pm to 9pm, offering some flexibility and opportunities for advancement within our service partner network.

You will collaborate with the Director of Operations on staff communications to clients, assist in hiring, and train new hires while maintaining strong relationships and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager is a plus.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, motivate, and work with janitorial supervisors and staff.
• Coordinate with Director of Operations on staff communication with clients and partners.
• Assist in interviewing, reviewing, and hiring processes.
• Train new hires in-office and on-site.
• Conduct follow-up visits to strengthen relationships and ensure unified work environment.
• Maintain inventory and deliver supplies to staff and client locations.
• Perform periodic onsite inspections and reviews with staff.
• Maintain good client relations via phone or in person, including during site reviews.
• Fill in production in accounts during peak times or vacancies to ensure client care.

Job Position Description:

This position is a Mon-Fri position between the hours of 12pm-9pm with some flexibility required. You would be responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer’, their students and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

Other duties may be Assigned:

• Overall duties include professional overseeing, motivating, and working side by side with our janitorial supervisors and support staff.
• Working with Director of Operations on flow of communication to staff and our business partners.
• Assisting in the interviewing, reviewing, and hiring process.

• Performing in-office and hands on account training of new hires.
• Performing follow-up staff visits, solidifying a strong relationship, and creating a unified work environment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, including delivering supplies to our staff and our client building location.
• Perform periodic onsite inspections and review with staff.
• Maintain a good working relationship with customer via over the phone or in-person, including during onsite reviews with clients.
• Capability of filling in/production in accounts as needed during times of new account implementation, time off by other staff, or vacant accounts (making sure our clients are taken care of first and foremost).

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) sitting, standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
• Must have an eye for detail.
• Team player.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a superviso or manager is a plus but not required.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, a good communicator, dependable, and on time.
