Job summary

ERMC Aviation in Los Angeles is seeking a reliable janitor to maintain clean facilities at the airport. You will perform floor cleaning, window and restroom care, and trash removal to ensure a safe, presentable environment.

Responsibilities include preparing requisitions for supplies, mixing cleaning solutions safely, lifting equipment, loading supplies, and assisting with inventory checks. Must meet basic education and work authorization requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a local in-state resident and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Comply with ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security credentials.

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Clean windows, restrooms, dust areas and empty trashcans.
• Prepare requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by safely mixing water and detergents.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment, supplies, and use power tools to clean.
• Load supplies into vehicles and return unused items to storage.
• Check inventory to ensure adequate cleaning supplies; perform related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
