Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain clean and safe facilities at our airport operations. You will perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, and you will restock supplies as needed.

The role requires you to pass pre-employment screenings, a background check, and ramp and SIDA training. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the position offers benefits and opportunities for paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be a local (in-state) resident and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; eligible to work in the United States.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training for airport authority identification security.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Clean windows, restrooms, dust areas and empty trashcans.
• Prepare requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions safely per chemical specifications.
• Move cleaning equipment and supplies; operate cleaning tools.
• Load supplies into vehicles and return unused items.
• Maintain inventory to ensure adequate supplies.

• Lifts and carries cleaning equipment, cleaning trays and cases of supplies to service the area. Uses power tools/equipment to clean facility.
• Loads supplies into vehicle and returns unused supplies to designated area.
• Checks inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to clean area. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
