Job summary

Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, PA is seeking a Janitorial - 2nd Shift to maintain sanitary conditions and assist with laundry services throughout the facility.

Work hours are 2:30pm–11pm, Monday through Friday. Duties include cleaning floors and surfaces, emptying trash, restrooms, and common areas, cleaning windows, and operating laundry machines as needed. Responsibilities

• Sweep all walkways and clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility.
• Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas.
• Clean inside windows and maintain cafeteria areas.
• Sort and launder laundry as needed and operate laundry machines.
• Take out trash to the compactor and support supervisor with other duties.

JOB SUMMARY: (See the Job Description for a comprehensive list of duties):

The responsibility of the Janitorial and Laundry Associate is to maintain sanitary conditions and or laundry services in assigned area s of the facility.

Days of operations: Monday - Friday

Hours: 2:30pm - 11pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Sweep all walkways
• Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility
• Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas
• Clean inside windows
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Run floor machine to clean large floor areas
• Cleans and maintains offices areas, (sweeping, mopping, dusting furniture and ceiling vents)
• Clean and maintain cafeteria (sweeping and mopping floors, microwaves, refrigerator, shelving, and empty trash
• Takes trash to compactor
• Operates laundry machines
• Sorts dirty laundry
• Sorts and hangs clean smocks
• Collects dirty laundry cards around the facility
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :

Minimum education needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
