Job summary

Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, PA is hiring a Janitorial - 1st Shift. The role maintains sanitary conditions and supports laundry services in a busy facility. Hours are 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, offices, cafeterias, windows, and handling trash and laundry tasks.

Reading ability in English or Spanish is required; safety rules and procedures will be followed, and basic checklist completion is expected for daily operations.

• Ability to complete checklists.

Responsibilities

• Sweep all walkways
• Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility
• Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas
• Clean inside windows
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Run floor machine to clean large floor areas
• Cleans and maintains offices areas, (sweeping, mopping, dusting furniture and ceiling vents)
• Clean and maintain cafeteria (sweeping and mopping floors, microwaves, refrigerator, shelving, and empty trash
• Takes trash to compactor
• Operates laundry machines
• Sorts dirty laundry
• Sorts and hangs clean smocks
• Collects dirty laundry cards around the facility
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor

The responsibility of the Janitorial and Laundry Associate is to maintain sanitary conditions and or laundry services in assigned area s of the facility.

Days of operations: Monday - Friday
