Job summary

Race Winning Brands in Mentor, Ohio is hiring a Janitor to keep our facility clean and safe on both the office and plant floors. You will work closely with the supervisor and maintenance team to report and handle issues, ensuring a well-kept environment that supports safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and report defects or hazards promptly.
• Perform cleaning tasks on office and plant floors and restrooms.
• Empty trash and sweep/mop floors daily in all areas.
• Clean windows and report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain outside grounds cleanliness and inventory paperwork.
• Ensure supplies stay stocked and properly recorded.
• Report unsafe conditions and cooperate with maintenance.
• Take ownership and seek continuous improvements in processes.
• Support a clean, organized, and respectful workplace.

Requirements

As a Janitor at Race Winning Brands, you’ll keep our Mentor facility clean and well cared for, both in the office and on the plant floor. You’ll work closely with your supervisor and our building maintenance team to make sure issues are reported and handled. A clean, well-kept building helps everyone do their best work safely.

What You’ll Do

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect, no matter what leaves your hands.
• Work like a pit crew and bring innovation to finding better, faster and smarter ways to work.
• Empty trash throughout the facility every day.
• Sweep and mop floors and common areas in the office and plant.
• Clean restrooms and windows and report any needed repairs to your supervisor.
• Keep the outside grounds clear of trash and cigarette butts.
• Complete inventory paperwork accurately so supplies stay on track.
• Report unsafe conditions and work with building maintenance when needed.
• Take ownership of your work and look for ways to make it better.
• Help keep our workplace safe, organized and respectful.
