Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is seeking a reliable Janitorial Associate to keep our venues spotless and welcoming for guests. You will clean theatres, restrooms, lobbies and common areas, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning and floor maintenance with potential shift requirements during holidays, nights and weekends. Prior hospitality mindset is a plus and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Job Description

The Janitorial position is responsible for cleaning the building, removing debris and keeping all areas neat and sanitary at the venue.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Required Skills

• Able to take direction and work together as a team
• Hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing and guest focused a plus

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED Certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces
