Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a Janitorial team member to keep theaters and common areas clean and sanitary. You will sweep, mop, vacuum floors and carpets, empty trash, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the venue.

Qualified applicants have a HS Diploma or GED, must be at least 18, and be available for holidays, nights, and weekends with peak hours. Prior cleaning experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work as part of a team is essential.

• Previous experience preferred.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Job Description

The Janitorial position is responsible for cleaning the building, removing debris and keeping all areas neat and sanitary at the venue.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Required Skills

• Able to take direction and work together as a team
• Hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing and guest focused a plus

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED Certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience preferred
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces
