Job summary

Mycustomstaffing is seeking a reliable Janitorial Staff member to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility in Bellefontaine, OH. The role covers office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas with weekend availability required.

Shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on selected days. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work 3–4 days weekly, including Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs during an 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

• Dust and wipe desks, tables, countertops, and high-touch surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
• Empty trash and recycling, replace liners as needed
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies
• Sanitize breakrooms, wipe appliances, and restock consumables
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and keep janitorial closets organized
• Follow health and safety regulations for chemical cleaners

Janitorial Staff / Commercial Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff member to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. This role focuses on servicing office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. Weekend availability is strictly required for this position.

Shift Schedules

We are looking to fill shifts with a standard timeframe of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (daily hours may be negotiable for the right candidate). The required working days include:

• Tuesday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday (Required)
• Sunday (Required)

Key Responsibilities

Office Spaces & Common Areas

• Dust and wipe down desks, tables, countertops, and high-touch surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop hard floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners as needed.

Restrooms

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect toilets, urinals, and sinks.
• Refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers.
• Clean mirrors, wipe down walls, and mop restroom floors with disinfectant.

Breakrooms

• Wipe down exterior appliances (refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers).
• Sanitize tables, countertops, and sinks.
• Restock kitchen consumables if applicable.

General Maintenance

• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Keep janitorial closets organized and clean.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding the use of chemical cleaners.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Availability: Must be able to work 3-4 days a week with Saturday and Sunday included, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Experience: Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
