Job Description

The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. Tasks may vary depending on client specifications, requiring flexibility in duties.

Position: Temporary Night Janitor at Schaumburg Corporate Center

Wage: $18.05/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Empty and clean waste containers and remove waste paper and garbage
• Clean ash trays and monitor sand urn supplies
• Dust frames, charts, wall hangings, and air diffusers
• Vacuum mats and carpeted areas
• Clean and dust office furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces
• Polish metal fixtures and hardware
• Clean tile floors and glass furnishings
• Clean entry door glass and vertical surfaces
• Sterilize water coolers
• Sweep stairways and vacuum carpets
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Minimum of 6 months experience in janitorial work
