This is where YOU fit in: Navy Exchange Bremerton is in need of a Janitor to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community and operational successes on a day-to-day basis. You will perform a variety of tasks which involve the upkeep and repair of all Navy Exchange Bangor retail locations. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.

Typical Day Responsibilities:

1. Conducts full range of cleaning tasks involved in the maintenance of a designated area.
2. Performs general janitorial tasks including cleaning and maintaining machines/equipment.
3. Follows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions.
4. Operates motor vehicle in the performance of the duties.

The Qualifiers:

1. Physical requirements: Moderately heavy physical effort is used occasionally in moving, setting up and working from ladders and scaffolds. Frequently lifts and moves objects weighing about 40 pounds and occasionally objects weighing over 50 pounds.
2. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
3. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a pre-employment criminal & motor vehicle background check.
