Job summary

Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role supports the comfort, health, and well-being of those in our care.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, hallways, resident rooms, restrooms, outdoor spaces, replacing light bulbs, and promptly responding to maintenance requests. Pay range is $18.45-$19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, maintenance, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Help keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Clean common areas, hallways, restrooms, resident rooms, and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash throughout the facility.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways and entrances.
• Replace light bulbs and assist with minor facility upkeep.
• Respond to cleaning and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Keep cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment organized and stocked.
• Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns to your supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with staff to support a comfortable environment for residents.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
