Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team in San Jose, CA. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and public areas, following infection control procedures, and reporting safety concerns. Competitive pay and full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or related setting preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Dust furniture, handrails, windowsills, and other fixtures to maintain a clean environment.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and common areas according to facility standards.
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Safely use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
