Job summary

UG2 in Asheville, NC is seeking a Janitorial Cleaner to perform janitorial duties across buildings and related areas. The role requires quality customer service and a willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques.

Under supervision, you will vacuum, mop, sanitize bathrooms, clean break rooms, restock supplies, empty trash, and maintain safe, organized janitorial closets and equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related customer service and/or facility services related experience.
• Valid Driver's License is a plus.
• Floor care experience is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good client/customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
