Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a full-time janitor to perform daily housekeeping at designated sites in Midlothian, VA. The role involves cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and inventory management. Training provided; background checks required; evenings and weekends may be needed.

The overnight shift runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, with lifting up to 50 pounds and no mandatory computer skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is helpful but not required. Will train.
• The associate must pass a criminal background check and a federal background check as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

• High School Diploma / GED not required.
• Previous experience is helpful but not required. Will train.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check. Additionally, must be able to pass a federal background check as required.
• No computer skills are required.

• The associate may be required to provide assistance with snow removal.
• The associate must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
