Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain the offices, plant break rooms and restrooms with general housekeeping duties. You will work under supervision, following specific directions and safety guidelines in a non-manufacturing area.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, and restrooms, stocking supplies, and reporting equipment issues. Ability to pass a drug test and adhere to management hours is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and follow directions.
• Demonstrates ability to use cleaning equipment as required.
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Midshift hours: 10AM - 6:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Mops floors, vacuums offices, dusts desks, and surfaces in offices and break rooms.
• Cleans and scrubs toilets in restrooms.
• Cleans refrigerators, microwaves, and ice machines.
• Ensures restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, towels) are stocked.
• Reports issues with restroom/break room equipment.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and performs other duties as required.

Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for the general housekeeping and upkeep of the offices, plant break rooms and restrooms, and all other non-manufacturing/maintenance areas. Works under immediate supervision; relies on specific direction and instructions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Mops floors, vacuums offices, and dusts and wipes down desks, counters, and other surfaces in the office and break rooms.
• Cleans and scrubs toilets in restrooms.
• Cleans and scrubs refrigerator, microwaves, and ice machine.
• Ensures adequate supply of toilet paper, soap and paper towels is available in restrooms.
• Reports any problems or issues with equipment in restrooms and/or break rooms.
• Maintains adequate inventory on cleaning supplies
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe manner
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
• Demonstrate ability to use tools and other equipment as required
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area, and notice equipment malfunctions
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work hours mandated by management
• Midshift hours: 10AM - 6:30
