Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mop floors, vacuum offices, and dust surfaces in offices and break rooms.
• Clean and scrub toilets in restrooms; scrub refrigerators, microwaves, and ice machine.
• Ensure restrooms are stocked with toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Report problems with restroom/break room equipment.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain exterior of the property; mow lawns, trim shrubs, plants, remove debris.
• Handle trash removal and seasonal outdoor tasks (snow/leaf removal).
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Summary

The Custodian is responsible for the general housekeeping and upkeep of the offices, plant break rooms and restrooms, and all other non-manufacturing/maintenance areas. Works under immediate supervision; relies on specific direction and instructions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Mops floors, vacuums offices, and dusts and wipes down desks, counters, and other surfaces in the office and break rooms.
• Cleans and scrubs toilets in restrooms.
• Cleans and scrubs refrigerator, microwaves, and ice machine.
• Ensures adequate supply of toilet paper, soap and paper towels is available in restrooms.
• Reports any problems or issues with equipment in restrooms and/or break rooms.
• Maintains adequate inventory on cleaning supplies
• Maintain the exterior of the property, ensuring outdoor areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Responsibilities include mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and clearing debris.
• Handle trash removal, and perform seasonal work like snow or leaf removal.
• Performs other duties as required
