SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time Janitor Lead at Hamilton SE in Fishers, IN. The role oversees custodial operations, trains staff, and ensures cleaning standards for a school district environment.

Qualified candidates have 3 years of janitorial experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Full-time schedule is Mon–Fri, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including same-day pay.

Responsibilities

• Train custodial associates on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conduct one-on-one training as needed.
• Update training on janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical safety.
• Copies training material and revises material; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides trainee feedback during orientation and reviews records for compliance.
• Makes recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs monthly safety performance reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA and policies.
• Conducts walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Location: Hamilton SE - 12876 Promise Road, Fishers, IN 46038. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 3 years of janitorial experience and 1 year of supervisory experience are required.
• Pay Range: $19.10per hour to$20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.

• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews, i.e., monthly safety performance review, in order to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company/federal/state/local requirements and policies.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
