Job summary

Draper and Kramer is seeking a Janitor Helper C to join our team at Printers Row, Chicago, IL. This position reports directly to the Head Janitor (property engineer) and involves general cleaning, refuse removal, and upkeep of common areas in a multifamily facility.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, snow removal, and assisting in maintenance or medical emergencies as needed. Union membership is required; schedule is Thursday–Monday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with location in

• Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; flexibility for holidays, weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning including vacuuming carpets, refuse removal, cleaning of chute rooms, sweeping and mopping, snow removal.
• Cleaning of common areas including lobby, fitness center, party/media room, business center, restrooms, break room.
• Relieve door staff for lunch and breaks as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and medical emergencies as needed.

The Janitor Helper C reports directly to the Head Janitor (property engineer), and while specific responsibilities will vary based on location, the janitor helper will be responsible for general cleaning, removal of refuse, sweeping and dusting of common areas. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude are crucial. Membership in the Union is a requirement. This position is located in Printers Row, Chicago, IL.

Schedule

• Thursday – Monday: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Compensation

• CBA Hourly Rate: $22.82
