Job summary

McKinley Park Care Center in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to manage linen and resident laundry on site. You will ensure clean linen, follow sanitation procedures, and assist in stocking and delivering clean items to resident rooms.

The role emphasizes safety, proper handling of laundry equipment, and maintaining inventory of supplies to support comfortable resident care.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.

Education and/or Experience

Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
