Job Opening: Janitor

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Janitor positions at SSC Services for Education.

Location

Freedom School District - N4021 County Road East, Freedom, WI 54130. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules available, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Compensation and Perks

Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and mop floors, move and replace furniture for cleaning.
• Clean surfaces, sanitize areas, and follow the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, refinish floors, and shampoo carpets.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
