Job Summary

Location

Richland School District Two – 9800 Dunbarton Drive, Columbia, SC 29223 (Openings available at other district locations).

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time schedules; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Schedule details are discussed during interview.

Compensation

Pay range: $12.00–$14.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and returns items to correct placement.
• Sanitizes assigned areas using approved materials and equipment; follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
