Job summary

SSC Services For Education in Hot Springs National Park, AR, is seeking a dependable janitorial technician to maintain clean and orderly facilities at Fountain Lake School District. The role covers floor care, window washing, dusting, trash disposal, and general sanitation.

This full-time position follows an infection-control aware routine, available training, and a schedule Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm–12:00 am. Pay ranges from $13.25 to $13.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required. Willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule and Pay

Full‑time schedule; Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Pay: $13.25 to $13.50 per hour. Locations: Fountain Lake School District, 4207 Park Avenue, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71901, with openings at other district locations. Applications accepted online only.
