SSC Services For Education is accepting applications for part-time janitorial positions within the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools district. Positions offer weekday evenings with flexible shift options and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior general commercial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp-mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and restores furniture to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Position: Part‑time Janitor
• Location: Winston‑Salem Forsyth County Schools - 2500 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284 (openings at other locations within the school district available).
• Schedule: Part‑time Monday through Friday, 3 PM–7 PM, 4 PM–8 PM, or 5 PM–9 PM. Full‑time and part‑time flexibility available.
• Pay Range: $15.00 – $15.50 per hour
