About the Position

Full‑time Janitor positions located in Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Work schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Online applications only. Fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment and sanitize all surfaces. Follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
