Job summary

Compass Group's Jerome Custodial team in Jerome, ID is seeking a hardworking cleaner to keep buildings clean and orderly. The role involves heavy cleaning duties, including floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and trash removal.

Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with potential part-time flexible options. Pay ranges from $14.50 to $16.00 per hour, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred; not required.
• Ability to perform tasks per federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and furniture.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces. Follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Part‑time positions may be available with flexible scheduling.

Pay

$14.50 to $16.00 per hour.
