Job Opening: Janitor

We have a full-time position available for a Janitor at our location:

Address: 9798 Smith Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Note: Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, including day and night shifts (10-hour shifts) from Sunday through Saturday. More details provided during the interview.

Requirements: One year of previous janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The janitor is responsible for keeping buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move and replace furniture and equipment for cleaning.
• Clean assigned areas using proper materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with team members and clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
