We have a full-time opening for a Janitor position at Bosch Florence, located at 15 Spiral Drive, Florence, KY 41042. Online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: At least 2 years of janitorial or floor maintenance experience.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disposing of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusting and damp mopping floors.
• Moving equipment and furniture for cleaning and returning them to their proper places.
• Cleaning assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitizing surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washing walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and taking initiative to complete tasks.
• Completing tasks assigned by supervisors, following all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Contributing to team efforts and maintaining professionalism.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
