Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc. seeks a reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness in commercial and medical settings.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and keep restrooms sanitary, ensuring a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, disposing of waste per guidelines, coordinating with maintenance teams, and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of a sanitary environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines.
• Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc team.
