Job summary

Total Facility Care is seeking a dependable Janitor Floater to service multiple client sites across the Fort Collins area. You will travel between buildings, performing daily cleaning tasks, stocking supplies, and responding to spills with minimal supervision.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle, with flexibility for shifts and occasional travel up to an hour between sites. A reliable work ethic and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Unexpired Driver’s License and a Personal Vehicle for Transportation.
• Ability to drive to different client locations in the Denver Metro area and Colorado Springs (as needed).
• Handle basic cleaning and janitorial work, including but not limited to: emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, wipe downs.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. - We Use E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Service different buildings daily, as assigned by your supervisor or admin staff.
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, including a backpack vacuum.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by supervisor.

What You Will Be Doing As a Janitorial Floater , you support multiple client sites by traveling to different buildings and ensuring each is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You handle daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and responding to spills while working independently and efficiently. The successful candidate will be flexible with their availability, have a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license. This role will require you to service buildings in the Fort Collins area. Your work assignment is communicated to you daily prior to your shift; some assignments may be up to 1-hour away.
