Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Janitor/Drive for daily upkeep and facilities maintenance at our OHSU operations in Portland, OR. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Pay rate: $20.00 per hour. This role supports a clean, safe environment for customers and staff across the facility.

This role combines janitorial duties with customer interaction; requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision. A Free TriMet annual pass is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to adapt to changes and remain professional.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks and cleaning per checklists and supervisor directions.
• Make rounds to collect trash and debris.
• Empty indoor/outdoor trash receptacles.
• Identify and report malfunctions or repairs needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment as applicable.
• Assist customers within the facility as directed.
• Maintain neat uniform and appearance; adhere to safety rules.
