Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. is seeking a store cleanliness associate to maintain sanitation across departments. You will perform general cleaning, sanitization, floor care, and waste disposal to support a safe shopping environment.

Role requires attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions. The position offers opportunity for systematic growth and includes benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must complete a pre-employment background check.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and sanitization of each department.
• Clean and supply designated areas and equipment (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping).
• Sweep, mop and sanitize floors; scrub walls and sinks.
• Clean spills and dispose of trash.
• Notify store management of deficiencies or repair needs.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do:

• General cleaning and sanitization of each department while keeping them maintained and in good condition.
• Clean and supply designated areas and equipment (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, etc.)
• Sweep, mop and sanitize floors. Scrub, wash and sanitize walls and sinks.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Collect and dispose of trash.
• Notify store management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
