Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a reliable janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across departments. Role includes end-of-day cleanup, sanitation, and overall cleanliness to prepare for the next business day.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions with evening schedules: full-time Sunday–Thursday 2:30 PM–11:30 PM; part-time Friday–Saturday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and sanitization of each department while keeping them maintained and in good condition.
• Clean and supply designated areas and equipment (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, etc.).
• Sweep, mop and sanitize floors. Scrub, wash and sanitize walls and sinks.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Collect and dispose of trash.
• Notify store management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking reliable and hardworking Janitor to support our departments. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by completing department clean-up, sanitation, and general cleaning tasks at the end of the day. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of food safety, cleanliness, and keeping department areas ready for the next business day.

We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. The full-time schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The part-time schedule is Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

What You'll Do

• General cleaning and sanitization of each department while keeping them maintained and in good condition.
