The Janitor position involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. Duties may vary based on client specifications, requiring flexibility.

Pay Rate: $18.00

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Empty and clean waste containers, remove waste paper and garbage, damp wipe containers.
• Empty and clean ash trays, monitor sand urns, and replenish sand as needed.
• Dust all wall hangings, frames, charts, and graphs.
• Damp dust ceiling and air condition diffusers, partition grilles, registers, and ventilating louvers.
• Vacuum mats and carpeted areas in lobbies, corridors, and workspaces.
• Clean office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, and window sills.
• Buff and clean metal fixtures and hardware.
• Clean and maintain tile floors.
• Clean glass furnishings and entry doors.
• Remove stains from vertical surfaces and around switches.
• Wash, clean, and sterilize water coolers.
• Sweep stairways and vacuum carpets.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in janitorial work.
