Job description

We're looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building (office areas, bathrooms, break room, shop)
2. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
3. Clean windows, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
4. Wipe up spills and other hazards
5. Clean and maintain equipment in auto repair shop
6. Sweep and mop floors in shop / use floor scrubber
7. Grounds maintenance such as snow shoveling, mowing lawn, pulling weeds, etc.
8. Other duties as needed

Qualifications

1. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
2. At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
3. Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
4. Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
5. Excellent stamina and physical health
6. Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic

Pay listed is starting pay. Potential for bonus / pay raise.

Absolutely no drug use is tolerated when working around vehicles. It is too much of a liability. Random drug testing is performed to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
