Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm

The ideal candidate for a Custodian would be able to do the following:

• Manage time effectively to assure daily custodial and housekeeping tasks are maintained.
• Monitor and manage inventory and supplies necessary to perform daily tasks and upkeep.
• Communicate professionally with staff as needed and stay on task.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash and replace trash bags.
• Clean and stock restrooms, breakrooms, and other areas.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Polish windows and other surfaces as assigned.
• Dispose of and lift trash and recycled materials into receptacles.
• Clean, mop, and scrub large areas, aisle ways, and hallways.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience as a custodian in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally up to 20 lbs. unassisted.
• Safely use chemical cleaners and disinfectants with PPE as necessary.
• Operate floor scrubber and general cleaning equipment such as vacuum, mop, squeegee, etc.
