J and H Janitorial is seeking a Part-Time Cleaner to perform cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The role includes emptying trash, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, and general floor care, with duties defined by the contract.

Entry Wage is $12.00 per hour, with a Day Time schedule totaling 40 hours per week. Candidates must have janitorial experience, strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Job Summary

Job Duties

1. Empty trash and replace can liners.
2. Dust, wipe and spot clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
3. Clean, sanitize all fixtures, floors, and restock paper and soap supplies in bathrooms.
4. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
5. Clean cafeterias or eating areas.
6. Any other duties as mandated by the scope of the contract.

Cleaners are expected to:

• follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• communicate effectively any irregularities, equipment or building damage,
• follow security protocols as dictated by the contract.
• wear company issued shirts.
• maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.

• Previous experience in a janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning role is required.
